From Patreksfjörður, you'll visit Europe's westernmost point, the Látrabjarg bird cliffs, and see the unique Rauðasandur red sand beach. In the afternoon, you'll take the ferry across Breiðafjörður bay to Stykkishólmur.
Látrabjarg Cliffs
Visit one of the world's most spectacular seabird cliffs, teeming with puffins, razorbills, and guillemots in summer. You can get remarkably close to the puffins, but be careful near the edge.
Rauðasandur Beach
A vast, stunning beach whose sands shift in color from golden to red and pink depending on the light. A serene and beautiful contrast to Iceland's more common black sand beaches.
Brjánslækur Ferry Terminal
Arrive at the ferry terminal in time for your afternoon departure. The Baldur ferry will take you across the bay to Stykkishólmur on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
